A live score by Devin Ronneberg and Kite of a compilation of Edweard Muybridge's early movement studies as part of a co-presentation with LACMA and the Autry Museum. These early films were part of the first attempts to quantify the natural world and the mechanisms within it. These attempts at classification through technological means have continued to advance, leading to computer vision and other mechanisms being used to analyze our world for profit. In this live scoring we explore that quest to quantify and the mechanization of the human through sound.
